Give it to us straight. A groundswell is brewing. NOLAlicious has steadily grown since we launched this January, but in the past month we’ve seen a lot more newcomers to the newsletter. That tells us we’re doing something right (you voted us best enewsletter in New Orleans in The Gambit’s Web Awards)! But we’re still a work in progress, and we’d love your help to make NOLAlicious be the best we can be. Thus, we’ve created our first survey! Here’s your chance to give it to us straight. You can answer the questions anonymously, but if you enter your email address at the bottom of the survey, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win one of two prizes (either a NOLAlicious T-shirt or a $25 donation in your name to the local nonprofit of your choice). The survey will be open until next Thursday (8/5) at noon CST and we’ll be naming the winner Thursday afternoon on Facebook. Click here to complete the survey. One thing is for certain: when we started NOLAlicious we had no idea what we were getting into. Originally a passion project between three recent transplants to New Orleans, we now feel like proud parents! We’ve created 29 issues and 5 special issues, 3 versions of the website (long-time followers might remember the short-lived version #2!), added 2 writers and interns, and have advertisers knocking on our door. So let’s make a deal. We’ll continue to deliver you the best enewsletter we can, and you’ll continue to hold us to our promise.
