June 8 to 14, 2010 Dear Friends, The summer is nearly here and we hope you're as ready for it as we are. While Taylor is in Ireland at the CEPIC New Media Conference participating in a panel about "The Future" of Digital Media Businesses, and Sloane is in New York City attending Internet Week and speaking at Fund Raising Day about how to leverage social media for fundraising, Carl, Martin and Kat are busy with their many endeavors here in the Crescent City, enjoying the pre-summer heat. This week it's all about books and bikes in our top picks, but if that's not your thing don't miss the Ponderosa Stomp Friday for cocktails and conversations about the roots of American music. And while not all of us could get of town (anybody wish they were at WWDC?), the Microsoft Tech-Ed conference is here in New Orleans this week. Maybe we should keep an eye out for Bill Gates while we sip on an Abita? Cheers, P.S. What did you think of our first monthly newsletter? Take a look here and let us know.
